DR-40X este un reportofon digital profesional cu 4 canale si interfata audio USB integrata de la Tascam. Acesta este echipat cu o pereche de microfoane omnidirectionale ajustabile in configuratie AB / XY, care pot fi folosite pentru a inregistra la o calitate inalta de 24 bit/96 kHz. Reportofonul este echipat cu o varietate de functii, printre care se regasesc functiile de inregistrare cu self-timer, atenuare a nivelului maxim, inregistrare automata prin detectarea nivelului semnalului de intrare si multe altele. De asemenea, prezinta 3 niveluri de filtru Low Cut (40/80/120 Hz) si presiune sonora ridicata pentru captarea sunetelor puternice de pana la 125 dB SPL. Inregistrarile pot fi stocate pe un card microSD/SDHC/SDXC de pana la 128 GB (nu este inclus). Se alimenteaza cu 3 baterii AA cu pana la 18 ore de inregistrare pe baterii, sau prin USB / adaptor AC (PS-P520E optional) si functioneaza la temperaturi cuprinse intre 0°
C si +40°
C.
