Edifier S2000MKIII sunt boxe active bookshelf din seria S, proiectate pentru auditii Hi-Fi in living, birou sau spatii medii. Combina amplificare digitala pe mai multe cai, procesare DSP si conectivitate completa (analog, digital si Bluetooth), pentru o integrare usoara cu surse moderne.Platforma acustica foloseste tweetere cu diafragma plana si drivere cu diafragma din aluminiu, pentru un raspuns rapid si detalii bune in zona inalta. Puterea RMS continua este de 15W + 50W pe fiecare canal (treble + mid-bass), iar raspunsul in frecventa este 45Hz–40kHz, potrivit pentru redare ampla si dinamica.Arhitectura de amplificare este realizata cu trei chip-uri profesionale de amplificare digitala TI TAS5754, care separa alimentarea pe canale (inalte si mid-bass) pentru reducerea interferentelor. Semnalul este optimizat de doua chip-uri DSP TI (miniDSP) dedicate crossover-ului si managementului dinamic, astfel incat distributia frecventelor sa ramana controlata.Pentru semnal analog, conversia este realizata cu chip-ul Burr-Brown PCM1802, mentionat cu SNR si dynamic range de pana la 105dB. Pentru intrarile digitale pe fibra optica si coaxial, interfata foloseste Burr-Brown PCM9211, cu suport pentru audio high-precision 24-bit si frecvente ridicate de esantionare (in utilizare uzuala, sursele PCM sunt acceptate in mod optic/coaxial).Conectivitatea include doua intrari analog Line In (RCA) si doua intrari digitale (Optical si Coaxial), pentru TV, console, playere media sau PC. Comutarea intre surse se poate face rapid din telecomanda sau din dial-ul de volum/selectie, iar ecranul OLED afiseaza sursa, volumul si modul activ pentru o utilizare intuitiva.Pe wireless, S2000MKIII foloseste Bluetooth 5.0 cu suport Qualcomm aptX HD, pentru redare cu detaliu ridicat si latenta redusa in comparatie cu codecurile standard. In practica, pastrarea unei distante de lucru rezonabile fata de sursa ajuta la stabilitatea conexiunii, mai ales in spatii cu multe retele wireless.Boxele includ 4 moduri de sunet (Monitor, Dynamic, Classic si Vocal), fiecare cu un profil diferit de egalizare pentru genuri si preferinte variate. Reglajele de bass si treble sunt disponibile direct pe unitatea activa, iar telecomanda permite control complet al volumului, sursei si modului, cu o distanta optima de operare indicata la aproximativ 7 metri.
